NEWS: EcoMobile’s Smart Waste system for Smart City Bonn plus other startups

EcoMobile’s Smart Waste system for remote waste container fill level measuring, and collection routes optimization was installed for Smart City Bonn pilot project. Smart Waste solution utilizes NB-IoT  for data transfer, so it was among the first commercial products in the world that support NB-IoT for the connectivity.

EcoMobile ended up as a part of selected group of start-ups working at Deutsche Telekom’s NB-IoT Prototyping Hub. At Deutsche Telekom’s tech incubator hub:raum, those start-ups had a chance to adapt their existing products or develop new ones for NB-IoT technology.

Extraordinary good news is that there was four companies (BeeAnd.me, Mobilisis, EcoBins and Flashnet) from the SEE region.
